diy Coco Choco conditioner bars
Today's recipe is combined with the Coco Choco shampoo bar and I can say I'm excited about the result. As I’ve already written here, solid products are ideal because they do not take up much space, they are easy to move around and we do not need difficult ingredients to make them.

diy Coco Choco shampoo bars
We continue the Coco Choco project with a chocolatey solid shampoo, because our hair need also a special treatment, right? This time I decided to add a little bit of clay, to see how it will work on hair and especially how functional it will be in preservation. As most of you will already know, clay-containing products are much more sensitive and have a shorter shelf-life. However, I really wanted to add clay to my shampoo, so I said my self to give it a try and observe the behavior of the product.

diy coco choco body scrub
About two or three days ago I felt my skin absolutely dehydrated and even though I am always trying to keep my skin moisturised, I realized that it was time for a real exfoliation. Either way, after the summer season, deep skin care is an urgent need. For my scrub I picked cocoa powder and coconut sugar that I already had in my kitchen.

diy after bite healing butter
Bug bites are the worst, no matter you do! Itchy bumps are unavoidable and unpleasant every summer even if you use repellent products- you still get bitten. For all these, I adjusted an older formula and I poured it into a tube so I can carry my balm with me, wherever I am.

soap- free facial cleanser with hemp seed oil & powdered rose
A clean, balanced and healthy skin is perfectly possible if we understand and respect how it functions. So we can work with our skin rather than against it, in order to get the results we want. One method that is constantly gaining ground for facial cleansing is the oil cleansing method which is ideal even for acne prone skin types.

Coffee Lover’s Lip Balm
A friend of mine makes amazing extracts with every plant you can imagine. Herbs, flowers, seeds and fruits are a daily challenge to make experiments. So I asked her to make a coffee infused oil for me and she made it directly from a variety of espresso with Protected Designation of Origin in Ethiopia. Its fragrance reminds me of a pleasant walk in the traditional coffee shops of the Athenian center, an amazing aroma of freshly roasted coffee.

diy heart lotion bars with rose wax & cupuacu butter
Anhydrous products are cosmetics that do not contain a water phase and we love them a lot because we do not need to use a preservative. Lately, solid products show a big increase (see previous posts) so today we will make a solid bar lotion. It is very easy to prepare and maintains its solid form as long as it stays at room temperature. It is activated with body temperature as it is applied to the skin for softness and deep hydration and is absorbed directly, without leaving a feeling of greasiness.

After the last post about oily cleansing gels, I received a lot of e-mails; your interest in this soap-free cleanser product has exceeded my expectations and frankly I am so happy that you have started making your own oleogels! Mostly, I was glad you modified it to your skin type and your age group from 15 to 65 years old.

A few months ago, a friend presented us the shampoos she has been making over the past few years, and they have thrilled me as they had a special feature: they were solid! So I started looking for this very new product (for me) informations, I actually read everyrthing, I did some experiments until I started creating my own formulas. Iaam telling you this: Since I wash my hair with this type of shampoo, I can not go back to the shampoos I used before from the market.

Cleansing your skin by using an oil or a blend of oils is more popular than ever, mainly because we now have access to a variety of exotic ingredients while at the same time the preference for organic products is growing rapidly. In any case, oil cleansing gels known also as oleogels have been loved by all ages, regardless of the skin type and that’s why I decided to write down my own experience.

Sweating is one of our body’s natural way of ridding toxins. It is good to sweat, but it is also necessary using a deodorant for our armpits 💨👀To be more precise, having an initial cleanse is actually pretty important and then you have to use a deodorant directly. You cannot expect your deodorant to work, if you don’t use soap and water firstly.

diy caramel lip balm with sal butter
![]() |
| caramel lip balm by Stella Crown |
Today's menu includes caramel lip balm, since we are officially in the autumn season! This time I chose sal butter from distant India that has been used for many centuries to protect the skin from the sun and the wind. It is a butter that melts at body temperature while exhibiting a high content of stearic and oleic acids, providing good hydration and antioxidant action.
