Today we will make an amazing shampoo for our wonderful hair and because it also belongs to the Lilac Drops beauty line, we will use purple clay; firstly for the color, and on the other hand for the creamy result. It is one of the very easy formulas which just needs good mixing and kneading.

I am totally sure that you have understood how much I love solid shampoo. I like that it is in the form of a soap bar because this way I reduce my ecological footprint and I do not burden my environment with extra plastic. It is ideal for daily use and easy transport to the gym or on trips. For its preparation, you can use mild foaming agents that respect the natural flora of the scalp with an active cleansing that leaves the hair healthy and soft.

We continue the Coco Choco project with a chocolatey solid shampoo, because our hair need also a special treatment, right? This time I decided to add a little bit of clay, to see how it will work on hair and especially how functional it will be in preservation. As most of you will already know, clay-containing products are much more sensitive and have a shorter shelf-life. However, I really wanted to add clay to my shampoo, so I said my self to give it a try and observe the behavior of the product.

A few months ago, a friend presented us the shampoos she has been making over the past few years, and they have thrilled me as they had a special feature: they were  solid! So I started looking for this very new product (for me) informations, I actually read everyrthing, I did some experiments until I started creating my own formulas.
