Frau Litsa project is coming to its end today with a conditioner in solid form which contains vegetable oils & butters that deeply moisturize the hair and make the hair soft and easy to comb. It is a truly natural conditioner and as it has a high content of fatty acids, it creates a protective film with emollient properties on the hair. It strengthens the hydrolipid barrier while increasing and stimulating their elasticity and shine.
As we discussed yesterday, solid products are environmentally friendly as they are not accompanied by plastic packaging and contain luxurious ingredients, high quality that in no case are found in famous products on the market. They are ideal for all hair types, even for children.

1 g | 0.04 oz provitamin B5 (d-panthenol)
1 g | 0.04 oz broad spectrum preservative
1 g | 0.04 oz fragrance oil
1 pinch mica colouring
- Before start making the conditioner, sanitise tools, containers, work surface and wear gloves.
- In a beaker, add the ingredients of the heated phase and place in a water bath with a mild fire to fully melt. Be carefull: it’s difficult.
- In another beaker, add the cool down phase ingredients, mix thoroughly and leave aside.
- When the heated phase ingredients melt, remove the beaker from the heat and stir. Once the mixture reaches 50 degrees Celsius, add the cool down phase ingredients and stir well. Pour the mixture into a mold and wait for it to cool down and solidify. I usually put it in the fridge for an hour, and then pop it out of the mold. Leave your conditioner fully set up for 24 hours before use.
If you have fine or oily hair you can use the conditioner first and then shampoo your hair afterwards.
For an intense treatment, add the conditioner, wrap your head in a warm towel, and leave on for 20 to 30 minutes. After conditioning make sure to rinse your hair completely and finish with a cool rinse.
- BTMS is a herbal agent that comes from the natural Colza oil which softens and smoothes the hair while cetyl alcohol is also a softening factor.
- Illipe butter has high content in fatty acids and is a natural conditioner in itself, coconut oil repairs damaged hair while argan and strawberry oils moisturize the scalp, making hair soft and silky.
- Brahmi oil is actually the extract of Ayurvedic brahmi powder in castor oil. It stimulates the scalp as well as hair growth, while fighting hair loss. It brings volume, shine and vitality to the hair while protecting it.
- Vitamins E and F, d-panthenol and vegetable glycerin work together and balance, offering hydration and softness to the hair.
- Dimethicone is used in order to give glow and soft texture to the hair. Silicone covers the "pores" of the hair so that it does not absorb excessive moisture but also maintains natural moisture inside. In this way the hair remains straight and does not "curl" so easily. At the same time it gives softness as it acts as a conditioning agent - the hair does not make “knots”.
- Lately I use hyaluronic acid in hair products. It is known as the moisturizing ally of the skin that offers a lasting effect, however it is also suitable for hair care. It revitalizes thirsty hair as it reactivates the production of keratin in the hair follicles, improving their elasticity and shine.
