diy Frau Litsa mousse scrub

I have written for the charming strawberry before. For those who still remember, this was a product that had to be consumed immediately as it contained real strawberries inside. This time, I wanted to make something that would last longer. Today's menu includes an exotic mousse scrub, where i used apricot kernel powder & strawberry seed oil.

It gently cleanses and renews the skin while travels you to summer destinations. Effectively removes dead cells, giving the skin radiance and softness and helps reduce the appearance of "orange peel” skin texture.

Frau Litsa Mousse Scrub

formula for 300 g | 10.6 oz

270 g | 9.52 oz foaming bath butter (Crystal OPC Mousse)

5 g | 0.18 oz strawberry seed oil

4 g | 0.14 oz avocado oil

4 g | 0.14 oz mango butter

10 g | 0.35 oz apricot kernel powder

4 g | 0.14 oz provitamin B5

4 g | 0.14 oz strawberry fragrance oil

  • Before you start making the mousse, sanitise tools, containers, work surface and wear your gloves.
  • Pour the soap base into a bowl and beat it for a few seconds with your mixer until it melts and becomes creamy. Add all the remaining ingredients and mix well. If you want colour, you can add a little bit of mica.
  • If you want deeper cleansing, you are free to add more apricot kernel powder.

Soap is a washable product, so we can not talk about skin moisturisation. But what I can say for sure is that the oils or the butters that we add in a soap, help the skin not to "dry out" after using a bath product. For true hydration, apply a body cream to your skin after your bath.
