Orange: a Citrus with a Long Beauty History
Orange has always carried something luminous. In Greek mythology, the golden fruits of the Garden of the Hesperides were symbols of immortality and divine beauty. These legendary “golden apples” were a wedding gift from Gaia to Hera and were guarded by the nymphs and the dragon Ladon. When Heracles completed his eleventh labour and took the sacred fruits, they were eventually returned to the gods, as their beauty and power were never meant to belong to humans.
