diy biphasic eyebrow growth serum

biphasic eyebrow growth serum by Stella Crown
When I decided to thicken and strengthen my eyebrows I knew I had to walk a very long and difficult path😅 First of all, forget the tweezers for at least a month! Yes, it is a personal, endless and unbearable drama to see your eyebrows in this situation everyday to your mirror and it’s also annoying to listen everybody telling you “ohhh what’s wrong with your face?????” 😱. Reinforce yourself with patience and listen to me: Stay away from your tweezers!!! Your eyebrows will thank you for this, soon or after, believe me.

During this horrible month, you must apply every night, an eyebrow serum to help the hair grow easier and quicker, because it is very likely that after many years of overusing tweezers you have probably disappear even the slightest suspicion of hair follicles.
After 2 months I visited my make up artist to give a shape on my eyebrows. Until this day, I was using every night the serum which I will give to you today. I personally could tell a difference after a week. Εven now however, five months later, there are some empty spots that will be filled in time, which I cover with some eyebrow pencil, or shadow.
Special guest: the black cumin seed oil! Pure cold pressed, it nourishes & refreshes skin and hair. It has strong antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, strengthens the scalp and is a super anti-aging product. It is a rich source of vitamins, carotenoids and polyunsaturated fatty acids. Dioskourides and Hippocrates used it for therapeutic purposes, we use it for beautiful hair and youthful skin! It is suitable for mature and dry skin, for hair loss and fragile dull hair, for eczema and acne.

CAUTION: This serum is suitable only for eyebrows. Do not apply it on your lashes or face.

recipe for ~ 60 g | oz

14 g | 0.49 oz castor oil
12 g | 0.42 oz early harvest olive oil
8 g | 0.28 oz black cumin seed oil
6 g | 0.21 oz argan oil
4 g | 0.14 oz coconut oil
6 g | 0.21 oz vitamin E
10 g | 0.35 oz phytokeratine
4 drops cedar essential oil
3 drops lavender essential oil
2 drops rosemary essential oil
  • Before we start making our serum, we sterilise tools, containers, work surface and we wear our gloves.
  • Pour all the ingredients in a beaker and stir thoroughly. Transfer the serum in a roll-on or mascara bottle and its ready for use.
  • The product is biphasic as the phytokeratine is not homogenized with the other liposoluble substances. Therefore, shake before each use!
  • Castor oil increases the circulation of blood in the hair follicles, helping the hair growth to spots where it didn’t exist before while the early harvest olive oil helps the hair to grow in a nice shape and direction.
  • Argan and coconut oil strengthen the hair, while vitamin E accelerates the hair thickening process.
  • Phytokeratine enhances the structure of the hair. I add it because it gives volume and strength, while the synergy of essential oils of cedar, lavender and rosemary stimulates the hair follicles.
  • Hope that works well for you like it worked for me!
